Alicia M. Went is a transactional tax attorney and partner at Bocarsly Emden.  Ms. Went advises clients on a wide range of tax issues and her current practice focuses on tax credit transactions, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and Energy Tax Credits.  Ms. Went has ample experience representing tax credit syndicators and developers in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions and portfolio acquisitions.  She has also represented numerous community developments entities and borrowers in New Markets Tax Credit transactions across the country.

Prior to joining Bocarsly Emden, Ms. Went was an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP, where she focused on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions, New Markets Tax Credit transactions, tax controversy matters and general tax matters.  Earlier in her career. Ms. Went was a senior tax associate at KPMG LLP, where she worked with Fortune 500 companies and sophisticated partnerships, across a wide range of industries, in tax return preparation and consulting matters.

Ms. Went received her LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law, her Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
