Emily Waterhouse is a transactional real estate attorney and an associate in the Los Angeles office of Bocarsly Emden. She specializes in affordable housing and community development projects and represents investors and developers in the acquisition, financing, and syndication of real estate projects that utilize the federal low-income housing tax credit and the new markets tax credit.

Prior to joining Bocarsly Emden, Ms. Waterhouse was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where she focused on commercial finance transactions and represented agents, lenders, private equity sponsors and borrowers in a variety of leveraged financings.

Ms. Waterhouse received Juris Doctorate degree from UCLA Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and chair of the Landlord-Tenant Clinic. Ms. Waterhouse received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College with a double major in Political Science and Environmental Studies.
